At Finlake Resort & Spa, every moment has the potential to surprise, delight, and bring people together. From pulse-raising challenges to hands-on creativity, our activities are designed to spark laughter, connection or perhaps uncover a new favourite hobby.
At Finlake, the activity list is anything but ordinary. Build dens in the woods, bring a teddy to life, saddle up for a countryside ride or glide through the trees on a Segway. Indoors or out, hands-on or high-energy, every session is an invitation to try something unexpected, and you might just discover a new favourite. After all, you never know what you’ll love until you give it a go.

From morning adventures to creative afternoons, our activity timetable helps you make the most of every moment.
We do everything we can to keep our activities running smoothly, but occasionally we may need to adjust, postpone or withdraw facilities or activities without notice due to maintenance, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
Swimming pools - Our lifeguards and pool rules are in place to keep everyone safe, please follow their guidance at all times. Age restrictions apply across all swimming pools and gyms for guests under 16.
Fishing - Planning to cast a line? You’ll need a national rod licence if you're 13 or older. These are available at most Post Offices.
To help everything run smoothly and make sure you get the most from your session, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your session starts. If you’re late or can’t make it and haven’t let us know at least an hour beforehand, we may not be able to hold your spot, and the session will still be charged.
Activities need to be booked at least an hour in advance, and full payment is taken when you book. Some sessions are weather dependent, but don’t worry, we’ll always try to reschedule or offer a refund if we need to cancel.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout.
All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
All participants for pool sessions must be able to swim 20 metres unaided. We’ll do a quick swim test at the start, just to be sure. If it doesn’t go to plan, unfortunately you won’t be able to take part and we won’t be able to refund the session.
Please dress appropriately for your activity:
Archery: Closed-toe shoes are required (as per Archery GB guidelines)
Fencing: Trousers or tracksuit bottoms must be worn
Children booked onto sessions with age restrictions who do not meet the minimum requirement will also not be eligible for a refund.
